4. No Guarantee of Academic Results

Genius Buddy does not guarantee:

Any examples, testimonials, previous results or success statements displayed on our website are illustrative and do not constitute a guarantee of future results.

5. Client Responsibilities

6. Scope of Work

The agreed quotation applies to the scope of work confirmed at the time the order is accepted.

The following may be treated as additional work:

  • A substantial change to the original brief.

  • Any other material change to the originally agreed requirements.

Additional work may require additional payment and/or a revised delivery date.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Advance Payment

Genius Buddy requires either:

  • 50% advance payment, or
  • 100% full payment in advance

before work commences.

Work will normally begin only after the required payment has been received and the order has been confirmed.

7.2 50% Advance Payment Option

Where the Client chooses the 50% advance-payment option:

  • The first 50% payment confirms the order and allows Genius Buddy to commence the agreed work.
  • The remaining 50% balance becomes payable after completion of the agreed work and before the final completed files are released.
  • The outstanding balance remains payable even if the Client subsequently decides not to use or submit the completed work, subject to applicable law.
  • Genius Buddy may withhold final delivery until the outstanding balance has been received.

7.3 Full Payment Option

Where the Client makes full payment in advance:

  • The order will be processed according to the agreed scope and deadline.
  • The Client should retain the payment confirmation for their records.

7.4 Additional Work

Additional work outside the agreed scope may require additional payment.

Genius Buddy will, where reasonably practicable, communicate the additional charge to the Client before undertaking substantial additional work.

7.5 Payment Records

The Client should retain:

  • Payment receipts.
  • Transaction references.
  • Quotations.
  • Order confirmations.
  • Important written communications.

These records may be requested when investigating payment-related questions or disputes.

8. Cancellation Policy

  • A Client may request cancellation before work begins.
  • Once work has commenced, cancellation does not automatically entitle the Client to a refund.
  • Where work has already been completed, cancellation will not automatically cancel the Client’s payment obligation.
  • If a Client has paid 50% in advance and the agreed work has been completed, the outstanding 50% remains payable before final completed files are released.
  • Cancellation requests will be considered in accordance with the stage of work, agreed scope, payments already made and applicable law.
  • Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove any legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Refund Policy

Genius Buddy follows the following refund principles:

  • No refund will normally be provided once the agreed work has been completed and delivered, except where a refund is required under applicable law.
  • A change of mind does not automatically create a right to a refund.
  • Failure to use the completed work does not automatically create a right to a refund.
  • A decision not to submit the work does not automatically create a right to a refund.
  • Personal circumstances or a change in academic plans do not automatically create a right to a refund.
  • Where a genuine issue exists because the delivered work does not reasonably follow the originally agreed brief, the Client should first contact Genius Buddy and provide specific details of the issue.
  • Where appropriate, Genius Buddy may offer corrections or rework in accordance with the Revision and Rework Policy below.
  • A Client should not request a refund as a substitute for an applicable correction or revision process.
  • Any refund request will be considered according to the circumstances, agreed scope, stage of work and applicable law.

Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Revision, Correction and Rework Policy

Genius Buddy may provide corrections or rework where appropriate.

Corrections should:

  • Relate to the original brief.
  • Relate to the original instructions.

  • A new methodology.
  • A significant change in the assignment brief.
  • A major change in university requirements after completion.
  • A substantial increase in word count.
  • New sections not included in the original order.
  • Requests for a completely different approach after the original work has been completed.

Such requests may require an additional payment.

10.3 Revision Assessment

Genius Buddy reserves the right to reasonably determine whether a request is:

  1. A correction to the originally agreed work; or
  2. A new or additional requirement.

Corrections or rework do not constitute a guarantee of a particular grade or academic outcome.

11. Deadlines and Delivery

  • The agreed delivery date is based on the information and requirements available when the order is confirmed.
  • The Client must provide all necessary information and files within the agreed timeframe.
  • Delays caused by missing information, late instructions, payment delays or changes to the scope may affect delivery.
  • Urgent and same-day orders are subject to availability.
  • Acceptance of an urgent order does not guarantee a particular academic result.
  • Genius Buddy will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays where practicable.

12. Final Delivery and Outstanding Balance

Where the Client has selected the 50% advance-payment option:

  • Genius Buddy may complete the agreed work before requesting the remaining balance.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the final completed files are released.

  • Failure to pay the outstanding balance may result in final delivery being withheld.
  • Any delay caused by outstanding payment may affect the agreed delivery timeline.

13. Word Count

  • The agreed price is generally based on the confirmed word count and scope.
  • The treatment of references, bibliography, appendices, tables, figures and other material will depend on the quotation and the Client’s requirements.
  • Any substantial increase in word count may result in an additional charge.
  • The Client should confirm the required word count before work begins.

14. Plagiarism and Originality

  • Genius Buddy aims to provide original content and takes reasonable measures to minimise plagiarism and inappropriate similarity.
